BRITISH
ROCK CLIMBING PHOTO-QUIZ |
|
|
| |
For the full, ground-up, on-sight check the
photos below and send me your answers straight away. For
a little more beta browse around this site and for the fully worked
red-point print it out, get your guidebooks and discuss it with
your mates over a brew, ideally whilst you should be working.
There are 3 sections. Name the route (10), name the sea cliff (7), and name the first ascencionists (5). Each correct answer scores 1 point or, if the question is in two parts, half for each. There are a few ‘warm up’ questions in each section but the odd cruxy shot as well – have a slap for it if you don’t know as there is no esoterica in there. They are mainly 3 star routes between HVS and E5 on quality crags spread throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
Email me your answers (rob@highlandguides.com) and I’ll send you back your score.
I’ll buy the first person with a complete
set of correct answers a beer or two! Completing this project
would show a pretty impressive knowledge of Brit Rock! Bonne
Chance!
